Inspired by the timeless teachings of Morari Bapu, we serve humanity through truth, love, and compassion — one act of kindness at a time.
ABOUT THE TRUST
Karuna Charitable Trust was founded by Nilesh Bhatt, a nature-loving social worker from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Deeply moved by the teachings of Pujya Morari Bapu — who reminds us that "True dharma is compassion (करुणा)" — Nilesh dedicates himself to aiding the community through environmental advocacy, assistance to the underprivileged, and embodying a spirit of selfless service.
The trust works tirelessly across multiple areas of social development: from feeding the hungry and educating underprivileged children to Gau Seva (cow welfare), Vriksharopan (tree plantation), healthcare camps, and women & youth empowerment programs.
OUR SPIRITUAL GUIDE
Morari Bapu teaches that Truth is the foundation of all dharma. To live truthfully is to walk the path of Lord Ram — with courage, integrity, and unwavering faith in righteousness.
Love transcends all barriers of caste, creed, and religion. Bapu lovingly calls his listeners "flowers, not followers" — emphasizing that divine love blossoms naturally in an open heart.
Compassion is the very essence of this trust's name and purpose. Bapu urges freedom from ninda (criticism), dwesh (hatred), and irsha (envy) — replacing them with active compassion.
Morari Bapu is a globally renowned spiritual leader and Ram Katha narrator from Talgajarda, Gujarat. Since age 14, he has been narrating the Ram Charita Manas — conducting over 960 Kathas worldwide in places as sacred as Mansarovar and Mount Kailash, and as prestigious as the Vatican, the United Nations HQ, and Cambridge University. His message is simple yet profound: live with truth, love with your whole heart, and serve with compassion.

The Ramayana is one of India's two great Sanskrit epics attributed to the sage Valmiki. As a tale of Lord Ram's life and exile, it is both a moral and spiritual guide, upholding the triumph of dharma (righteousness) over adharma (evil).
Goswami Tulsidas' Shri Ramcharitmanas (16th century) holds a unique place in Indian spiritual literature. Composed in Awadhi, it carried the story of Lord Ram into the hearts of the common people. Its seven kands (cantos) mirror the structure of Valmiki's epic.
For Morari Bapu, the Ramcharitmanas is both anchor and compass. Every one of his nine-day Kathas is rooted in this text. He blends scripture, philosophy, poetry, humour, and contemporary reflection — bringing the timeless wisdom of Ramcharitmanas into dialogue with the concerns of modern life.
OUR PURPOSE
To uplift the underprivileged through compassionate action rooted in the principles of Satya, Prem, and Karuna. We strive to provide food, education, healthcare, and environmental stewardship to communities across Gujarat and beyond — empowering change, one act of kindness at a time.
A world where every individual has access to basic needs, where nature is honoured and protected, and where the spirit of selfless service — as taught by saints like Morari Bapu and the Ramcharitmanas — guides humanity towards peace, harmony, and collective well-being.
WHAT WE DO
Organizing food drives and providing meals to the hungry, homeless, and disaster-affected families across Gujarat. No one should sleep on an empty stomach.
Large-scale tree plantation drives to combat climate change and restore green cover. Every tree planted is a prayer to nature — a living legacy for future generations.
Providing educational resources, school supplies, and skill development programs for underprivileged children and youth to shape brighter futures.
Dedicated cow welfare programs including shelters, feeding, and medical care — honoring the sacred tradition of Gau Mata seva as an expression of gratitude and dharma.
Organizing free health check-up camps, medicine distribution, and awareness programs in underserved communities where medical access is limited.
Empowering women and youth through skill training, vocational workshops, and community programs that build self-reliance and confidence.
OUR IMPACT
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Bapu lovingly calls his listeners "flowers" — urging them to bloom naturally with their own fragrance of goodness, rather than blindly following anyone.
Bapu emphasizes liberation from ninda (criticism), dwesh (hatred), and irsha (envy) — the three poisons that obstruct the path to inner peace.
True spirituality lies not in elaborate rituals but in the purity of heart, truthful living, and compassionate service to all beings.
Bapu's Kathas are open to all — transcending caste, gender, religion, and social barriers. The divine wisdom of Ramcharitmanas belongs to every soul.
